The Client

Founded by French chef Romain Bourillon, Cocotte now boasts four farm-to-table rotisserie restaurants across London in Notting Hill, Shoreditch, Parsons Green and now the latest in Queen’s Park. Offering a range of healthy, delicious homemade dishes using fresh, farm-grown ingredients, Cocotte serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails throughout the week, as well as welcoming families for weekend brunch.

Dishes range from organic Akai bowls in the morning as well as French classics including ‘pain perdu’ (that’s French toast to you and me) to succulent roast chicken and a range of delicious salads and much more as the day progresses. Cocotte also offers options for private hire – either the whole venue or dedicated sections – with the ability for customers to build their own menus and even provide their own playlists.

Project Brief

Having worked on many projects together, we were recommended to the client by specialist hospitality fit out contractors, NV&B Construction. Subsequently, Cocotte asked us to provide high quality, zoned background music systems with local control in each of their sites.

System Solution

Sound Division designed a zoned background music system around the Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers specifically requested by the client. They are powered by Crown XLi-800 Series amplifiers with control and routing handled by a Cloud CX163 mixer.

Independent remote controls for each zone are provided to allow staff to adjust volume levels in each zone as required, and a remote plug-in point is provided for a portable music player/DJ set up.
